2022 is right around the corner and that means developing a social media advertising strategy for the year.
In this short blog, I will discuss a few of the ways to run successful ads in the 2022 Facebook Ad Landscape.
Test, test, test.
Testing is the most important step in the entire process. Test campaign types, images, videos headlines, copy, and audiences.
Give the campaign time to run
When advertising, make sure to give the campaign at least 7-14 days to run its course and see if you can get the result you are looking for.
Don't spread yourself too thin
What do I mean by this? Let's say you have $25 a day to spend on ads, and you want to run multiple campaigns and test different ad sets and individual ads. I would suggest keeping each ad set at a minimum of $5 a day. The reason why is because if you go less than that, you are giving Facebook less data and money to work with to try and find your audience and ideal customer.
Use video views and actions within the Facebook Platform
These days it is hard to track specific metrics and analytics via the ads. I suggest, if you are retargeting, to retarget people who watched a certain portion of your video ad or people who interacted with your ad in some way. This can be post or ad engagement or people who clicked on the Call-To-Action.
